INFORMATION concerning results of plenary work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 14-17 April 2009.
Within the last week, 6 plenary meetings of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were held. 58 issues of the agenda were discussed.
In the result of the scrutiny:
- 13 Laws and 20 Resolutions were adopted,
- 12 Bills were adopted as a basis;
- 1 Bill was forwarded for repeated First Reading to the Committee;
- 4 Bills were returned to the Committee for further drafting;
- 16 Bills and 1 Draft Resolution were rejected.
In the result of the scrutiny of President´s motions:
- President´s veto on 2 Laws was overridden;
- 1 Law was rejected (veto not overridden).
144 Deputy´s inquiries were announced.
